Why Soler might be available
After signing from Valencia for €18 million in 2022, Soler claimed two Ligue 1 titles with PSG. Yet under Luis Enrique, he fell out of favour. He even spent the 2024/25 season on loan at West Ham, making 31 appearances, but he failed to cement a starting place back at PSG and looks certain to move on.

These figures underline him as a technically sound midfielder with good passing reliability and a tidy chance creator rather than a prolific goal scorer.
For Wolves, any move for Soler is likely to be about squad depth over star quality. With João Gomes and André firmly established as the first-choice midfield pairing, Soler would most likely serve as a backup option who can also slot into attacking midfield. His European pedigree and ball retention skills could provide a useful option from the bench, particularly in tight games where Wolves need control in possession, similar to the role Pablo Sarabia played at Wolves. His ability to operate in multiple midfield roles could make him a valuable squad player as Vítor Pereira continues a more flexible squad.
